Logistic support for the Selvaggio Blu
We recommend that you carefully read our article on how to tackle the Selvaggio Blu independently and plan your adventure down to the last detail.
PS: we remind you that only Guides can book the camps in Cala Mariolu and Cala Biriala
Luggage dimensions
Each suitcase must weigh a maximum of 18 kg
We recommend a 60 litres duffle bag (call it just “a bag”) to contain all your clothes and various items. In addition have a smaller bag for your tent. Do not put the tent with your clothes, as it may get wet and muddy in the morning.
Although we will keep your suitcases sheltered and protected from potential rain, we recommend using waterproof bags and storing your clothes in waterproof pouches.

Initial Delivery and End of Itinerary
INITIAL DELIVERY
On the morning of your departure, please hand over all your personal belongings to our team in Santa Maria Navarrese.
You can also leave your car in one of the many free parking areas.
From Santa Maria Navarrese, we will provide transportation to the starting point at Pedra Longa (approximately 30 minutes), or you can choose to start on foot from there (about 90 minutes).
END OF THE ITINERARY
At the end of your itinerary, which we hope will be Cala Sisine, we will pick you up with a dinghy and bring you back to the port of Santa Maria Navarrese.
If you withdraw before reaching Cala Sisine, we can pick you up with a dinghy if you can reach the sea, or with an off-road vehicle along the dirt track connecting Baunei to Cala Sisine.
In case of bad weather, we will pick you up with an off-road vehicle.
Food
You have several options to organize the food during the Selvaggio Blu! Here’s how it works:
Option 1: Ready meals
Every morning, we deliver breakfast and a packed lunch to you. Dinner is prepared by a local restaurant or deli and delivered hot every evening. For dinner, we’ll provide a menu from which you can choose the dishes you prefer each day.
Option 2: cook and roasted piglet
If available, we can cook a roasted piglet for you. Our chef will go ahead of the group to the campsite, start the fire, and begin slow-roasting the piglet. This is the true Sardinian specialty!
Option 3: Climbing Sardinia does the shopping, you cook.
In this case, we recommend you do a general shopping for long-lasting foods, such as ready meals, freeze-dried or canned foods, UHT milk, coffee, jams, and all condiments like salt, oil, sugar, etc.
Additionally, we can do the shopping every day to bring you fresh food. We can go to the deli, the fruit and vegetable shop, or the butcher and bring you whatever you want.
Option 4: Do it yourself, you don’t need anything
You can buy the food before the tour and deliver it to us the day before or the morning of departure. Divide the food by days and pack it into numbered boxes (e.g. box no.1 for the first night, box no.2 for the second night, and so on). Bring a separate bag with pots, plates, glasses, a stove, and everything you need to cook. Every evening, we’ll deliver the food boxes and the bag with the rest of the equipment.
Choose the solution that best suits your needs, and we’ll take care of the rest! 😊
