From leaning slabs<\/strong> to overhanging tufas<\/strong>,\u00a0Cala Gonone is home to 54 climbing sectors<\/strong>, for a total of over 1,100 equipped climbing routes<\/strong>. Add the sea and the typical dishes of Sardinian cuisine and you conjure the best climbing destination in Europe<\/strong>. Where else can you combine all these factors in such a safe and friendly environment?<\/p>\n The climbing sectors in Baunei are known to be some of the best and most challenging in Sardinia. Mostly famous for its extreme multi-pitches, it also has some crags for beginners, including the famous Pedra Longa.<\/p>\n During the last 10 years, Ulassai<\/a><\/strong> has become one of the biggest outdoor climbing hubs in Sardinia<\/strong>. The large vertical walls<\/strong> over Ulassai are equipped with hundreds of routes extending from 25 to 40 meters in height. Between Ulassai and the neighbouring town of Jerzu, there are now 25 climbing sectors<\/strong>. It is a place where to relax and prove one’s skills to top up new challenges.<\/p>\n The tiny village of Monteleone Rocca Doria<\/strong><\/a>, located at a short distance from Alghero, has one of the best climbing walls in Sardina.\u00a0There are over 100 climbing routes in Monteleone,<\/strong> stacked on a 300-meter-long wall. The average height is 30 meters, with plenty of easy routes ranging from 5a to 6b.
