Always. <\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Via Ferrata degli Angeli<\/strong>\u00a0runs on the southern ridge of the\u00a0<strong>island of Tavolara<\/strong>, from the sea straight to the top. It is divided into various sections, for a total ascent of about 600 metres, half of which protected by a steel cable.<\/p>\n<p>From the beginning to the end, the\u00a0<strong>Via Ferrata degli Angeli<\/strong>\u00a0reveals a truly unique scenario, presenting a 360\u00b0 view over the coast of northern\u00a0<strong>Sardinia<\/strong>\u00a0and the many islands that are scattered around it.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>There\u2019s no other via Ferrata like it, combining a mountaineering adventure and wide panoramas over the Mediterranean Sea.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Don\u2019t underestimate the difficulty of this Via Ferrata though\u2026 It is\u00a0<strong>fairly hard<\/strong>, and all participants must be able to\u00a0<strong>walk on steep and uneven terrain<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>scramble<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>climb<\/strong>\u00a0on vertical sections of rock. Furthermore, as it is exposed south, the heath makes it\u00a0<strong>unfeasible from June to October<\/strong>. In alternative, during these months we run the Via Ferrata Normale, which is much easier and runs on the northern and shady side of Tavolara.<\/p>\n<p>Two-thirds of the way up, the steel cable ends on easier terrain, where the group can walk 20 minutes to reach an anchoring point and\u00a0<strong>abseil back down<\/strong>. These are two consecutive abseils of\u00a0<strong>55 and 35 metres<\/strong>\u00a0of height. Quite exciting and panoramic! On the crest, the cable ends and we have to <strong>scramble on the rocks<\/strong>, finding a way without a visible path.<\/p>\n<p>It is fundamental to be in <strong>good physical shape<\/strong>, to have a decent <strong>endurance<\/strong> on physical efforts, and good <strong>strength in your arms<\/strong> and a stable <strong>balancing<\/strong>.[\/et_pb_accordion_item][et_pb_accordion_item title=&#8221;What do I need for the Ferrata?&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.17.4&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; open=&#8221;off&#8221;]Nothing special, as we provide all the necessary equipment such as ropes, harnesses, via Ferrata kit and helmets.<\/p>\n<p>You should wear\u00a0<strong>mountain boots<\/strong>, or at least approach shoes, and comfortable clothes suited to the season.<\/p>\n<p>Bring\u00a0<strong>2 litres of water per person<\/strong>\u00a0and a\u00a0<strong>packed lunch<\/strong>.
