Climbing courses

Our climbing courses last from 2 to 6 days. We demonstrate techniques and theory on location, practising what we teach directly on the rock. Some call it Kinaesthetic learning, we believe that an introduction to climbing should be fun, practical and carried out in a safe and awesome location. Therefore we meet by the better-equipped and most-panoramic crags in Sardinia, living you wonder why you didn’t start before.

Although Sardinia is a big island and there are hundreds of climbing locations, we concentrate our courses in the area of Cala Gonone. There are many reasons for this: there are dozens of easy and well-equipped crags, they are easy to reach, go on shade in the afternoon (making it possible climbing in the summertime too) and …they are beautiful!

For all our courses we provide all climbing equipment -excluding climbing shoes- so that you do not need to buy any item, making rookie mistakes that we’ll cover during the course.

All our advanced climbing courses are tailored around attendees’ previous experiences. Instructors will examine current practices and take it as starting point, correcting bad habits and helping to develop a better understanding of balancing, vertical progression, resting, breathing, rigging, rappelling techniques and emergency manoeuvres.

Base outdoor rock climbing courses are aimed to those who have never climbed before or have only indoor experience. We teach all safety and help building confidence with outdoor climbing.

A course lasts from two to five days, depending on your previous skills. It starts from the basic safety manoeuvres such as belaying and knots. As the course progresses, we will step up to lead-climbing and anchoring techniques

We trust that climbing multi-pitches is the best way to understand the true nature of Climbing.

Our Multipitch Climbing Courses will teach you all the necessary knowledge needed to enjoy climbing safely on bolted multi-pitches. From the best practices in belaying leading and second climber to threading anchoring points you will learn all the pro and cons of various techniques.

A real multipitch course should always include emergency manoeuvres. Once you are up there you can only count on your skills. That is why we include emergency retreats and different abseiling techniques.

A full multipitch climbing courses lasts 5 days, we will take you through the whole process of becoming an independent climber.

On an Experience Day you will be climbing as second a multipitch up to 200 meters high. Our instructors will lead the way and take care of all maneuvers and safety, letting you concentrate on climbing and enjoy your adventure.

Medical Conditions

Our insurance may refuse payments if participants had preexisting medical conditions that should have excluded them from participating in outdoor activities.

You should ask your GP for a non-agonistic medical certificate

To participate in any of our courses you should firs read and fill our forms:

Climbing can be a very tiring sport so you need to be fit enough to walk to a crag and climb it. You will need appropriate clothing and closed shoes. Instructors may refuse to accompany attendees wearing flip-flops or similar open shoes. You will need to have a small rucksack (up to 40 litres) and carry at least your personal equipment, personal items, water and snacks.

All our participants are covered by a basic insurance for public liability, which includes permanent injuries and death.

We recommend purchasing a personal insurance for outdoor activities and climbing from one of the companies below, prior to starting your holiday.

One-day activities: Cancellations with more than 7 days notice will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 20% of the activity total cost.  Your entire payment is forfeited for cancellations within 48 hours (maximum €300).

Other multi-day activities:  Cancellations made with 7 or more days notice will be charged a €100 cancellation fee. The full payment will be forfeited for cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled activity.

Climbing Camps: our climbing camps can have a limited number of attendees and it is difficult, if not impossible, to fill spaces as the dates approach. Because of this, our cancellation policy is strict. Once your reservation has been processed, there is a €100 cancellation fee per reservation when we receive 60 or more days notice. Cancellations with less than 60 days but more than 21 days notice will be charged up to €200 cancellation fee per person, which can be re-used for future activities within the current or next season. This amount is forfeited as well if not used by December 31 of the following year. If you cancel your scheduled climb within 21 days, the entire payment (for all climbers) will be forfeited. We strongly recommend that you obtain trip insurance as there will be no exceptions to this policy regardless of the reason for cancellation.
